Private drawings
All your drawings are private unless you choose to make them public by clicking "Make Public". While your drawing is private, we will never share it with any 3rd party. And we'll keep prying eyes out by various methods listed below. Your data is yours alone.

User privacy
We only collect the user information we really need, making signup not only simple but also privacy-worry-free. We will never sell or share your information with any 3rd party. For more details, please review our Privacy policy.

Drawing keys
Drawings or meetings are protected by using long 160-bit keys in the links. Only the creator of the drawings can access them without using the keys. A key is like an extremely long password that is impossible to guess. It'd take 10⁴⁸ (that's 1 followed by 48 zeros) tries to guess the key for any single drawing, and we block access to Dabbleboard after only a few attempts. Note: When sharing links to drawings, we recommend not using services like TinyURL, which shorten the long URL and effectively nullify this security measure.

Software design
The most important piece of security in any software is the architecture and design. We've carefully architected our software for security, and we use the most robust open-source technologies. Any potential security issue is our highest priority.

SSL/https encryption
We use industry-standard SSL encryption to make sure your data is transmitted securely. This is the same type of protection you get when using your bank's website or buying something from reputable online stores. All users login securely with SSL. Users with Pro accounts access all their drawing data and all webpages on our site securely with SSL as well.

Security best-practices
Web-based services can be subjected to many types of malicious attacks. We follow industry best-practices, including all those listed by Yahoo, to prevent them.

Credit card security
If you sign up for a Pro account, your credit card information is transmitted securely to Authorize.net, the Internet's most trusted payment processing gateway. We never store your credit card details on our servers.

Reliable hardware
We use Rackspace as our hardware hosting provider. Rackspace is one of the most trusted web hosts on the planet, with many large enterprise customers.
